HOMEWORK for the Week of OCTOBER 19, 2009

  • Students will be filling out a fruit and vegetable diary for the entire week. (Monday -Friday)
  • Diaries will be handed out on Monday, October 19th.
  • Completed Diaries will be handed in to Mrs. Daley on Monday October 26, 2009. (Since there is no school Friday October 23, 2009.)

HOMEWORK for the WEEK of OCTOBER 13, 2009 !

All students are challenged to try one new food this week. The assignment is:

1. Try a new food.

2. Write down the name of the food you tried.

3. Write down if you liked it or disliked it and why.

4. Write down the food group of the food you tried.

5. Would you try this food again? Why or why not.

6. Hand it into Mrs. Daley by Friday

HOMEWORK September 22, 2009-October 2, 2009

  • All Students are to complete a daily Pyramid Work Sheet. (note, in the upper left corner of the sheet it says "Write in your choices from yesterday". I have told the students to change that to today. Please write in the choices that you ate today and hand them in the next day.)
  • Students will keep track of their food choices from September 21, 2009- October 2, 2009.
  • Pyramid Work Sheets may be down loaded from my handout page.
  • Tracking is for Monday thru Friday. Friday's tracking should be brought to school on Monday
  • Students are setting goals. Encourage them to strive to do their best and track what they are eating.

Homework for the week of September 21, 2009

Begining Monday 9/21 students should keep track of what they had to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner on a sheet of notebook paper and bring it to class on Tuesday 9/22. On Tuesday each student will get a form to keep track of what they are eating daily and set some goals to aim for in both food choices and activity on the following day. More information to follow.

Homework for the Week of September 14th

Students should be practicing saying and writing down their personal information. (If you have changed your landline to a cell number please be sure to make the change with your child. Let me know and I will make the change on the student name cards.)

All students should work on keeping their backpack and binder clean and organized.
