Having participated as a Teen Star instructor at World Youth Day 2008 in
Sydney, Australia, I find that youth from all over the world have many
questions about their sexuality.
Teen Star is a program designed to help students develop an understanding of
human sexuality and relationships in light of the teachings of the Catholic
Church, and to encourage young people to say no to premarital sexual
activity.
Teen Star is incorporated into the Freshmen Health curriculum and meets once
every eighth school day. During the first semester, the students are
separated by gender.
