Welcome to United States History
I trust that all of you enjoyed a fabulous summer. I
look forward to meeting, learning, and growing with each of you. I love
presenting the story of this great country as I firmly believe that the United
States is truly blessed by God, and a successful school year is one in which
my students depart my class sharing this belief.
I plan an interesting year, one in which the students
will, ideally, gain an awareness of this awesome country, what it means to be
an American - both the rights as well as the responsibilities, and the
sacrifices required by so many to protect those rights and responsibilities.
Making United States history relevant to my students, helping them to realize
the impact of our shared past to their future is my primary objective for this
school year.
