MONDAY}
A) Finish the power point presentation of Section 2, Nationalism at Center
Stage. The Missouri Compromise is included which will be the essay
question on the Chapter 7 Test.
B) Review / discussion / notes for Section 3, The Age of Jackson, pages 224 -
229.
C) In class, complete a geography assignment, "Jackson Finally Becomes
President" which will be collected and graded.
HOMEWORK: READ SECTION 4, STATES RIGHTS AND THE NATIONAL BANK, PAGES
230 - 235, AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS IN OUTLINE FORM ON A SEPARATE
SHEET OF PAPER.
TUESDAY}
A) I will collect and grade "Jackson Finally Becomes President."
B) You will be assigned Essay #3, "Removal: Necessary Evil" which will be due
Thursday, November 19th.
C) Review / discuss / notes from Section 4 homework, States Rights and the
National Bank.
WEDNESDAY} VETERAN'S DAY = PARENT / STUDENT / TEACHER CONFERENCES
THURSDAY}
A) Finish review of Section 4, States Rights and the National Bank.
B) Review for Chapter 7 test, Balancing Nationalism and Sectionalism. You
will receive a study guide.
