Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year!!!!
Listed below are my classroom policies. Since I teach three very
different courses, my requirements for each particular class will be
handed out during the first week of school. I will also be adding
these to my individual web site pages.
CLASSROOM POLICIES
1. Every student is expected to have THEIR OWN copy of the
textbook. The student will bring the textbook to class
EVERY DAY until told otherwise. The textbooks for each
class are listed below and can be purchased in the
school bookstore.

2. Every student will need a notebook designated for THAT
PARTICULAR CLASS ALONE and will bring it, as well as
writing utensils to class EVERY DAY!!
3. RESPECT IS TO BE GIVEN AT ALL TIMES TO EVERY STUDENT IN
CLASS, AS WELL AS THE TEACHER.
4. In general,extra credit will be given sparingly and
discussed with each particular class. ACTIVE, POSITIVE
participation in class discussions is always a positive
for the student.
5. LATE WORK WILL RESULT IN A LOWERED GRADE FOR EVERY DAY
THAT IT IS MISSING. AFTER THREE DAYS, IT WILL NO
LONGER BE ACCEPTED.
6. If a student misses a test or quiz, and had been aware
of this before they were absent, they will be expected
to take the test or quiz on the day of their return,
which is also stated in the student handbook.
7. MISSING MORE THAN 6 CLASS DAYS PER QUARTER MAY RESULT
IN A FAILING GRADE AS PER THE STUDENT HANDBOOK
Grading Policies
1. Grades in all three courses will be on a cumulative
point basis. Please see the particular web page for
each course for the specific points assigned to each
task.
