Weeks of November 17th and November 24th
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!
Honors U. S. History
The students are reading and answering questions on Chapter 13. We
have temporarily skipped over chapters 11 and 12 because Chapter 13 deals
with the Alamo and our acquisition of Mexican territory that was mentioned
in Chapter 10,so this is a continuation on the theme of western expansion.
This week they will finish Chapter 13, but the soonest the test will be
given is Friday, November 21st. Most likely, they will have a review sheet
by Friday and the test will either be Monday, the 24th or Tuesday, the 25th.

College Prep U.S. History
The studens have already been assigned sections 1 and 2 from
Chapter 9 " Expanding Markets and Moving West". The homework for section 3
will be given on Tuesday, November 18th and by Thursday, the students will
have been assigned section 4. At this point, I am planning on giving the
students a review sheet for the test on Chapters 8 AND 9 by Friday, November
21st, with the test being given on Tuesday, November 25th.
Sociology
The students will have turned in their assignment on" Social
Staratificiation by Tuesday, November 18th. The only other assignment that
they will have before the Thanksgiving holiday will be the " Reaction paper"
to "Freedom Writers"
