Announcements

        Welcome, students and parents!  Please take a few minutes to become familiar with my website.  My hope is that it will lead to greater communication among us.  The quickest way to contact me is through e-mail by clicking the mailbox above.

        Homework for all my classes will be posted and updated daily.  During any absence, students will be expected to look up their missing assignments here.

        Policy sheets are available here for each subject and will also be kept in the student’s notebook.  Also included are notebook requirements and supply lists.

        This year I am part-time, teaching only three classes.  They are P-3, P-4 and P-6.  Because of this, I'm not necessarily available after school everyday.  I should be here for help on A, N,T,H and E days.  PLEASE CHECK WITH ME if you plan to stay for help.  I may also be available during your study hall.  Talk to me about that if you need me.  Other sources for help include the other math teachers, the student textbook, other students and a website called hotmath.com which the school subscribes to.  Our password is 1panther1.  Click on the image of your textbook and you will find all the odd problems worked out step by step.

         Everyone struggles with math at some point.  Even Einstein did.  That is the nature of learning mathematics.  So remember when you're struggling with your homework or with a new concept that it's all right!  Just keep going until you've conquered it.  It's a great feeling of accomplishment.
