ALL CLASSES! You must have a small binder, lots of paper, a pen, a book
(intro) and any handouts. You may not visit your locker to retrieve
forgotten items. Grading policy is listed under "Handouts"
Intro to Theater fall back assignment for times you miss a class:
THE REVIEW OF A REVIEW-
Follow this outline and be sure to type your review. Hand written or
disorganized reviews will not receive full points.
Find a review of a current play in the newspaper or online from a
newspaper. Read the review and write a one page review of the review. It
should include a paragraph on each of the following:
1. A synopsis of the play,
2. A discussion of what the reviewer thought of the play,
3. Why or why not you think you would like the play.
Please be sure to submit a copy of the review with your paper.
There is one more thing to be aware of. Many plays today are,
unfortunately, not appropriate for review because of some pretty rough
content. Don't pick something that you are going to hate writing about and
that I am going to hate reading.
