Hi Psych I students:
Big test coming up next Tuesday 11/18. Remember to study ahead, all notes
will be done by Friday 11/14. This is a unit test and will cover all of
Chapter 14 and half of Chapter 15.
We will then begin Chapter 6-Consciousness and Dreaming. Your project
during this time will be the dream Journal. You will have time to complete
the project before Thanksgiving break, it will be due after break. This is
done to allow you to slepp longer and hopefully dream more. Remember to
begin to say to yourself at night-I want to remember my dreams tonight. We
all dream, not all of us can remember them. This exercise will help you do
that. Talk to me in class if you are having problems.
After the Consciousness Unit we will work on Abnormal Psychology. Some of
that will be completed before Christmas Break, some will not. This year
different from other years, we are having exams for the semester before
Christmas Break. We will be having lessons on Abnmormal Psychology until a
few days before the exam week. We will then, stop Abnormal, review for the
exam and take the exam. After Christmas Break we will continue our Abnormal
Psychology projects.
All of this will be gone over in class, with current dates assigned to
everything.
