Please read and annotate Act 4 of Shakespeare's Macbeth on pp. 378-396 in your textbook.  Also, please complete the Macbeth Act 4 scene summaries worksheet.  Submit your summaries sheet to www.turnitin.com by the beginning of today's class period.

Thursday, January 19:

Please complete the Critical Reading questions on Macbeth Act IV on p. 396, the Literary Analysis and Reading Strategy exercises on p. 397, upload the assignments to www.turnitin.com by the beginning of today's class.  Also, be prepared to submit your Macbeth Act 3 handout in today's class period. 



Tuesday, January 24:

Please read and annotate Act 5 of Shakespeare's Macbeth on pp. 400-415 in your textbook.  Also, please complete the Macbeth Act 5 scene summaries worksheet.  Submit your summaries sheet to www.turnitin.com by the beginning of today's class period.

Also, your Senior Film Project Parent/Student letter must be submitted with all proper signatures by the beginning of today's class period.  The submission of this letter will serve as a homework grade AND as a contract for your Senior Film Project.

Wednesday, January 25:

Friday, January 27:

Please be prepared to submit your Macbeth Act V handout in today's class period.  Also, your persuasive speech handout is due by the beginning of today's class.
  

Macbeth Persuasive Speech Project
Due: Tuesday, January 31, 2012
1. Print all linked handouts:
2. Review the project description and bring any questions you may have to class for Wednesday, January 25.
3. Complete all sections of the persuasive speech handout for a series of homework grades to be announced.
4. Submit the text of your final draft of your persuasive speech to www.turnitin.com by the beginning of class on Tuesday, January 31.
5. Bring a copy of the grading rubric with you to class on Tuesday, 1/31.
6. Be prepared to give your speech on the due date.  No excuses!

Today we will begin presenting Macbeth persuasive speeches.  In addition to bringing a print copy/index cards for the class presentation of your speech, please upload the text of your persuasive speech using proper MLA formatting including in-text citations and works cited.
