Mrs. Venafro has taught in the Arlington Diocese for 30 years. She taught
music and math at St. Timothy School before coming to PVI in 1997. Here she
has worked in the math, music, and special programs departments. Mrs.
Venafro is also the choir director at George Mason University's Robert
Bellarmine Chapel and enjoys singing with the Liturgy Choir at PVI.
The Academic Center for Excellence provides students with strategies and
tools to improve their reading, writing and math skills. Working
independently or in small groups, ACE students will apply these techniques
to their classwork or homework. The ACE teachers will share their expertise
but ultimately the students are responsible for their own learning. Come to
ACE with a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a determination to
succeed.
