- How has Elie's relationship with his father changed from Sighet to Buchenwald? Try to think of at least three to five specific stages in the relationship. OR
- How are different family relationships changed or affected in Night? Try to think of different examples of families that are changed, especially the roles of parent and child.

- work on first page of the The House on Mango Street Neighborhood Women Character Chart. Go to the chapter for each character and write down their Actions, Appearance, and Words, then tell me what character traits this gives them (What are they LIKE?) Please include a page number. - write five lines (complete sentences with your best spelling and grammar) describing an interesting character that you know in real life. Think about their words, actions, and appearance.
- BINDER CHECK TUESDAY: Your binder must have: dividers (Unit Work, Literary Skills, Writing Skills, Returned Tests/Writing), tons of loose leaf paper, and a pouch with pens, pencils, scissors, and highlighters. ALL OTHER SUPPLIES due TUESDAY ALSO (composition book, index cards, grammar book)
