Our supply list is a little different than the one you picked up 
from the office. Things we don't need are:

1. pencil boxes
2. loose leaf paper
3. only 1 three-subject notebook
4. only 1 black and white composition book
5. liquid glue
6. instead of 2-1" binders, only 1-1" and 1-1/2"

Additional supplies needed:

1. plastic divider pockets for the binders
2. 4x6 dollar store photo album that will hold index cards
3. 3x5 spiral flip top notepad
4. 1 can of tennis balls
5. LOTS of glue sticks (get them now while they are cheap!!)
6. zipper pencil pouch for 3 ring binder

Don't bother trying to label everything. Many things will go into a 
community supply closet. Everthing else will go into a giant baggie 
with your child's name on it to be replenished throughout the year. 
I would HIGHLY suggest getting extra pencils, glue sticks, 
highlighters, red pens, scissors, etc. NOW while everything is 
cheap. When your child needs more supplies in Jan., everything costs 
a whole lot more!
