Homework

Your child will bring home a homework packet every Monday.
Please look over your child's work each night after they have completed their homework to make sure they are understanding their work. Homework packets should be returned to school on Friday to be checked.

Students should read for at least 15-20 minutes every night. You can help your child by asking him/her questions about what they are reading.

In Science we are studying about animal habitats and animal adaptations.
In Social Studies, we are learning about Ancient China - finding China on a world map, recognizing the Great Wall of China and learning about inventions from China.

We have been busy rounding numbers in math. Don't forget to continue having your child practice basic addition and subtraction facts to improve their speed of accuracy!
