Art students from Prince Edward County Elementary School
in Mrs. Utzinger's and Mrs. Edmonson's art classes have Vincent Van Gogh: Sunflower Days, Starry Nights for Youth Art Month at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts. The opening was Sunday, March 24th from 2-4 in the afternoon. Students have made more than 1,000 sunflowers and many stars to create Mr. Van Gogh's vision of the starry night and fields of sunflowers. Surrounding counties including Amelia, Appomattox, Buckingham, Cumberland, Nottoway, Prince Edward and private schools grades pk-12 also have art on display.The show is open until April 20.
