Welcome to a brand new school year! This year I will continue to work with
students in grades K-3 for PALS tutoring.
I am very experienced in teaching children to read. That has been my passion
since I began teaching. At PECES I work with students who need additional
instruction in reading in order to be successful at their grade level.
At our school we use the Phonological Awareness Literacy Survey (PALS) to
help determine which children need additional support in learning to read.
The students with whom I work vary throughout the school year, depending on
who needs assistance. I use research based best practices while instructing
my tutoring students.
