            Welcome to the 2011-2012  school year!
                    A few reminders...................
 *Reading starts promptly at 8:10 a.m daily, please make sure your child is present at that time.
      *Homework is due every Friday that school is in session.  
             
      *Please be reminded that if your child rides a different bus or will be picked up, please send a note.  Kindergarten students load earlier; therefore, we will exit the room before the afternoon bell sounds.               
          
    * No toys or distractions are allowed in the classroom during instruction; however, centers are an exception. 

     *Your child will go through many changes while adjusting to the rules and regulations of the school system; please be patient during this major adjustment period.
  * Please allow your child to bring a backpack and nutritious snack daily.
  *All money should be in a zip lock freezer bag/envelope with your child's name, teacher's name(Stokes-Gray), room number(B-6), and what the money is allocated for.

absence; this  note is required and forwarded daily to our attendance coordinator(Mrs. Kashera Eanes).
