Hello!
Welcome to my page. My name is Amy Handford and I am a new English teacher
here, at Prince Edward County High School. I am a graduate of Virginia
Commonwealth University with a Bachelor's degree in English with a teacher's
license earned from University of South Carolina. Additionally, I am
originally from the United Kingdom and have lived in the USA for almost 16 years.
I look forward to preparing you for a successful year at PECPS. With my
extensive knowledge and experience, I am excited to bring many interesting
resources, pictures and many other items to class everyday in order to create
a meaningful learning experience for you.
As for myself, I live in Richmond and commute everyday. I love to travel,
paint and I have a fluffy orange cat, Oscar.
