"I am so thrilled to have chosen a profession which gives me the opportunity
to guide my students through the art experience. I was inspired to teach by
caring individuals in my life who believed in my talent and helped to
nurture my dream. I want to give the same to my students---a creative license
to express their ideas and individuality, and with it, take away valuable
skills they can use in the future. I hope I reflect on my students that art
and teaching are truly my passion. I am honored to be doing this job and
feel I am one of those very fortunate people who is able to say, "I love my
career and teaching has proven to be an amazing journey for me thus far."
