How many books can students check out?

Each student may check out 4 books and 1 magazine EXCEPT
kindergartners.
Kindergartners are currently checking out 1 or 2 books at a time.

When can students come to the library?

Students can come to the library every day if they have permission from
their teacher. We are open for checkout from 8:45 a.m. until 3:20 p.m.
Kindergarten students check out at least once during the week and when they
come for their library time.

What happens if a student does not return a book?

Please come and see us, and we will discuss our policy for lost books.

Why do students come to library for instruction?

Students come for a variety of reasons. The Library Media Center supports
what teachers are doing in the classrooms. Several times during the year,
students will work on research projects with the help of the Library Media
Specialist.
