Homework

Dear Parents,

Getting children to make healthy food choices is often difficult! This week's
lessons help prepare children to do that. They will learn about the importance
of eating fruits and vegetables, and they will have the chance to taste some
healthy snacks. One of the stories the class will discuss, Mr. Rabbit and Mr.
Bear, promotes the idea that animals make healthy food choices, while
providing children with the opportunity to discuss the difference between
real and make-believe characters.

We will be practicing writing first and last names correctly and reciting the
days of the week and months of the year.

We will practice recognizing, writing, and letter sounds for the letters
Aa-Zz.

In math we will practice recognizing and writing numbers 1-10 and counting
objects to 30.

***Please sign and return permission slip for our field trip on Friday**

Please review any worksheets your child brings home and discuss what we
 did for the day.

You may contact me during my planning here at school on Monday-Friday
 from 10:55- 11:45.

Thanks for all your help and support.
