Message from the Principal
It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to welcome you to Riverview Elementary/Middle School. The staff is extremely proud of the programs offered to our students. The administration, faculty, and staff are very excited and have great expectations for the upcoming year. The staff is committed to providing all students with a quality education and share the belief that all children are capable of learning.
At Riverview Elementary/Middle School, educational excellence comes first. Our school is an important gateway to a lifelong journey of learning for each and every student.

Riverview Achieves AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress)
Riverview Elementary/Middle School has achieved Adequate Yearly Progress for the 2007-2008 school year. The success of the school is attributed to the hard work of the teachers, administration, support staff, classified staff, Central Office staff, students, parents, and community.

Riverview Elementary/Middle School has been awarded full accreditation by the Virginia Department of Education for the 2007-2008 school year.
