I am a proud graduate of East Carolina Unversity with a bachelors degree in
Music Education. I am an Orff Schulwerk Music Specialist, with certification
from The University of Memphis.
I have ten years experience as a Band Director at the Middle and High school
level. My major instrument is the flute. I have seven years experience
teaching at the Elementary and Early Childhood music.
I enjoy spending time with my husband Chris and our cat and
dog. I enjoy playing the flute with The Tidewater Winds and
teaching flute lessons. In the fall you may find me at a VT Football game or
tailgating with the Pirates on the ECU campus. I am a big fan of ACC
Basketball and cheer for the one and only-UNC TARHEELS!
I am so excited to be at Southeastern Elementary and look forward to
building a great music program here.
My mission for my students:
Move,Explore,Create,Improvise and most of all- Have Fun while learning music
fundamentals!
