Class Rules:
*	THS rules and policies as listed in the student handbook.
*	No cell phones, CD players, Ipods or other MP3 players, DVD players, 
        Video games, or other technology that is used / played as to be 
        distracting.  These must be turned off and not visible.  
*	Students are expected to come to class prepared when the bell 
        sounds. 
*	Students are expected to have books and all other materials with 
        them when they come to class. You may not go to your locker     
        during class 
        time.
*	Students should take restroom / water breaks between classes.  
        One 5 minute break is allowed per period.
*	A Tabb High School agenda is necessary for hallway passes.  
*	No applying make-up, lotions, nail polishes, colognes, and no 
        styling / brushing / combing hair in class.
*	No food or drinks permitted in classroom.  
*	Students must wait until the bell sounds to be dismissed.  No early 
        line-up at the door!
*	Students are expected to be respectful of the teacher and all 
        students in the class.  Rude or insulting behavior will not be     
        tolerated.


Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Infractions:
First offense:	Students will first be reminded that they are being 
        disruptive.
Second offense:	A phone call will be made to parents / guardians.
Third offense:	An infraction notice will be turned in to the principal.

Academic Dishonesty:
The THS English Department has a ˇ§zero toleranceˇ¨ policy regarding   
        cheating, plagiarism, and sharing or copying of homework.  Students  
        violating any of the above will be referred to an administrator.  In 
        the case of shared or copied work, all students involved will be 
        referred.  A grade of ˇ§0ˇ¨ on the assignment in question will also  
        result.
