My students are expected to read on a nightly basis for 15 minutes. Parents
need to ask their child about what they read. Who? What? Where? When?
How? are great questions to begin with. This helps them with comprehension.
Monday-Thursdays (except specific weeks in which we do not have a full week)
the children will have spelling homework that will not be checked. The
homework is provided on Monday and needs to be completed by the following
Monday.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S HOMEWORK LOG EVERY NIGHT! THERE MAY BE CHANGES TO
THE HOMEWORK IF WE HAVE SOMETHING ELSE GOING ON IN CLASS OR A HOLIDAY. You
may also write me notes in this as well. However, tell your child to show
me when you write it so I can respond in a timely manner. Thank you.
