Do you have homework on the weekend?
NO! I do not assign homework on the weekend, but I am aware that at times
life gets busy during the week, and do not mind at all if you decide to have
your child complete the week's homework over the weekend. As for weekend
reading, I would never discourage a child taking advantage of extra time to
get lots of punches!

Do you go over the homework in school?
No. Homework is reinforcement practice of what we are learning in school. It
is a tool designed to help you work with your child and discover their
weaknesses and strengths. The homework should have been checked by the
parents before it was returned. So everyone should have the correct answers
anyway. I do however glance at the work to make sure it is completed, and if
not I usually indicate I noticed it was missing with a stamp that
says "Incomplete."
