This is my 20th year working in the Virginia Beach City Public School system. I have also worked as a third grade cluster teacher, Education Consultant for Old Dominion University, and as the Founder/Director of the ODU-Tidewater Writing Project Summer Writing Camp. I also have experience with our school system's gifted program as a parent. I am mother to Kalli, a sophomore at Old Dominion University and Ben, a tenth grader at Cox High School. My husband, Scott, is an attorney for the Virginia Attorney General's Office.
