I first began teaching in 2001 after I graduated from Dickinson College in
Carlisle, PA. While teaching 5th grade in Philadelphia, I received my
certification and master's degree in elementary education from Cabrini
College in Radnor, PA. I then moved to the Washington, DC area and began
teaching 3rd grade at Marshall. I taught at Marshall for two years. You
might remember me as Miss DeLello! I left Marshall to gain experience in
assessment. I worked at The American Institutes for Research in Washington,
DC where my main focus was the creation of reading tests for the state of
Ohio, grades 3 through 8. While I enjoyed this experience, I learned that my
heart is in the classroom. I am so happy to be at Marshall teaching
4th grade for my fourth year in a row!
