Welcome Back Trantwood Readers!
What a treat it will be to see all of our Cardinals' smiling faces again! I
hope you had a terrific vacation and enjoyed your summer reading! As you
know, the summer reading logs are due Friday September 5th. Please remember
to bring them back and give to your teachers right away.
I look forward to visiting classrooms during the first two weeks. I will
share some good books and remind students of our reading programs such as
the Book Bistro, the Book Talk Boogie, and our latest quest: Book Clubs for
grades 3-5!
We have a highly recommended storyteller, David Novak, lined up for Monday,
Oct. 20th, and we will welcome the return of Barbara Spillman Lawson for
January's reading month celebration.
I am casting my vote for a wonderful year of reading!
