About The Teacher
I will start by saying that I have been teaching since 1987, the year I graduated from James Madison University. Educating third and fourth graders over the years, I have treasured the many students from the past, and always look forward to getting my new students in the fall! In 2000, I graduated from Xavier University, in Cincinnati, with a Masters Degree in Reading. This background has proven to be most beneficial in developing the language arts skills of all my students. Working as a Reading Specialist is my "dream job." I love everything related to literacy: reading , writing, listening, and speaking. Trantwood offers so many resources for support, that no matter what stage your child's literacy, you can expect growth and development.
