Summer Reading:  Please allocate time for your child to read to you.  As 
they read stop and ask them comprehension questions to make sure they 
understand what is taking place in the story.  If your student is unable to 
answer your questions do not give them the answers, ask them to go back to 
the beginning of the selection and read again.  Record the book title and 
number of pages on the summer reading log.

Fun in the Sun:  Be sure to get a lot of exercise and drink lots of water 
this summer.
