Choose activities below to earn a minimum of 15 points. 

1. Write a definition for each word. (5 points)

2.Underline the /k/ ending for each word.  (3 points)

3. Write each word three times each in your best cursive.  (5 points).

4.  Pretest with your parent. (1 point).

5. Write misspelled words 5 times, do this only is you have misspelled words. (1 point)

6. Sort your words into at least four different categories.  Use a colored pencil to underline the /k/ sound in each word. (3 points)

7. Complete Word Study Puzzle (2 points)

8. Write each work in up and down style. (3 points)

9. Put your words in alphabetical order backwards. (3 points)

10. Use each word in a sentence.  Underline the noun once and the verb twice.  Use strong fifth grade sentences.  You must know the definition of each word to do this.  (5 points)

11. Get Word Study contract signed by parent.  Do this only after you have earned at least 14 points (1 point)
