Meet Mrs. Shipp

        I am ready for another exciting year at Victory Elementary School!  
This is my 16th year teaching.  In addition to teaching Second Graders, I 
have taught Kindergarteners, First, Fifth and Sixth Graders.     
	I was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and I am the youngest of six 
children.  My family moved to Northern Virginia when I was five and I 
attended Fairfax County Public Schools from kindergarten through twelfth 
grade.  I received my undergraduate degree from Radford University and my 
masters degree from Virginia Tech!  
	My husband is a 8th grade teacher in PWCS.  We have a 
beautiful daughter, who is 6 years old and a wonderful son, who is 4 
years old. (You will hear a lot about them this year!)  When I’m not at 
school, I enjoy reading (especially to my children), traveling, being 
outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
