I have been working with young children in various capacities for 18 years
as a nanny, teaching assistant; childcare provider; tutor; day care
assistant director; and teacher.
During that time, I married my husband, Carl and started our family of four
children.
Janet, 18yrs; Josh, 17yrs; Justine, 12yrs; and Jacob, 7yrs.
Simultaneously, I completed an Associate Degree in Education from NVCC and a
Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Hope International University.
I have been working at Victory Elementary since it opened its doors in 2005!
First and foremost, I want students to know that our classroom is a safe
place. We are here to support and encourage each other as unique individuals
and as members of one team.
Secondly, I want them to love to learn; to see the value in making mistakes
and the joy of overcoming challenges.
