I was born in a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to New Jersey when I
was 10. I got my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from
Franscian University in Steubenville, Ohio. After graduation, I moved back
to New Jersey and got my first teaching job. I taught 5th and 7th grade at
St. Vincent de Paul school. I taught there for 5 years. I then got a job
teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Ventnor Elementary school. I taught there
4 years. I then got married and moved to Virginia where I taught 3rd grade
at Dumfries Elementary for 2 years. I took off a year to have my son,
Colin. Last year I had a daughter Caitlin in July. I am an avid Eagles
fan. Every Sunday or Monday you can find me
watching the game. My favorite books are Little House on the Praire and the
Harry Potter series. I also love picture books like Hugs and I will Always
Love You. I like all types of music and you can usually find me singing
along to the radio in my car. I can't wait for another exciting year at
Victory.
My goal is to provide a safe and happy learning environment for all
students. I will also to the best of my ability prepare my students to take
and pass the SOL tests.
