Teaching Philosophy

I am so very pleased to be your teacher this school year! I look forward to
getting to know you and helping you become an engaged citizen of the world.

My teaching philosophy revolves around the central notion that in order to
be successful one needs to be a global citizen. I believe in teaching the
whole child, not just the mind. My goal as a teacher is to provide a safe
and trusting environment to enhance the learning within my classroom. All
students enter my room equal and will excel through working hard.
Furthermore, we all have bad days, so when you come into my room each day is
a new day.

Again, I look forward to having you in my class and I hope you gain a lot
this year!
