It's hard to believe I have been teaching for 14 years and still LOVE
IT!!!!!!
I graduated from East Carolina University, in Greenville, North
Carolina. I taught third grade in a rural school in Greenville after I
graduted and moved back to Virginia Beach after my son was born. I have
taught first, second, and third grades. I have to admit, second grade has
been the most fun!
I have a wonderful husband and two busy children. My son, Nicholas
will be starting middle school this year and my daughter will be in first
grade. We have enjoyed spending a lot of time together this summer.
Between guitar and piano lessons, movies, Vacation Bible School, Centri Kid
camp, and swimming we found time to go to the library every two weeks. Did
you read anything new this summer??? E-mail me and let me know what you
did this summer!

I believe that a teacher who believes in a child's ability actually creates
an environment in which it becomes easier for that child to succeed. I
strive to encourage and challenge my students to be the best they
can be each day.
