About The Teacher
Mrs. McKay: This will be my 23rd year of teaching. Where has the time gone. I have taught in the Clover Park School district for 10 years, in a private school for 9, and this is my fourth year at Artondale. I have 3 children, Spencer 19, Taylor 17, and Carter 13. They are the light of my life. My husband teaches at Gig Harbor High School and is the football coach. Go Tides! Carter comes in after school to help with the kinders. They treat him like a rock star. Ask them about him. We have four West Highland White Terriers. I tell the children stories about my family and dogs all the time. I am sure some of the tales will come home. Now you know what is accurate. Ha Ha. I am looking forward to this year. Our class is shaping into a wonderful group of students.
