Monday
In your best handwriting, write your spelling words three times and include
two well-written sentences. Have an adult check it for you. Read for 15
minutes and record. Do xtramath 3 times this week.
Tuesday
Complete “Suffixes: Doubling Final Consonants”. Read for 15 minutes and
record. Do xtramath 3 times this week.
Wednesday
Complete “2-Digit Subtraction with Regrouping”. Read for 15 minutes and
record. Do xtramath 3 times this week.
Thursday
Study for tomorrow’s spelling test. Don’t forget the Know-It words. Read
for 15 minutes and record. Do xtramath 3 times this week. Put your homework,
Thursday folder and reading folder in your backpack.
Friday- Spelling Test
Turn in your homework, Thursday folder and reading folder. Have a great
weekend!
Upcoming Events and Reminders!
• Congratulations to Kerri Danstrom for sharing Artondale’s Volunteer
of the Year with Mrs. Moon. All of her hard work is much-appreciated!
• If you have any paper grocery bags, please send them to school so we
can use them to send school supplies home at the end of June! Thanks. Extras
would be great, too!
• Book Orders - The LAST book order of the year is due this Friday,
June 5th! This will give us plenty of time to receive our order before
school is out. Remember that you may order online or return orders to
school.
• June 12th Talent Show – 1:00 PM
• June 19th – Otter Games Day (Field Day)
• June 23rd – Last day of school – noon dismissal
• At this time of the school year, students sometimes lose some
motivation for their “at home” reading. It is very important to monitor your
student’s reading and encourage practice each night. When your child finishes
a book, ask him/her to retell the story to you. We appreciate your efforts at
home!
