When is homework due?

Homework is assigned every Monday and is included in a packet with our class
newsletter called Mills' Minutes. Homework is always due on Friday, unless
we have Friday off, then homework is due Thursday.

How much should my child be reading every night?

Reading at this time in a child's development is so important! Third
graders need to read about 30 minutes every afternoon or evening. They
can read independantly, with a parent, read aloud to another person or
their favorite stuffed animal.

What can my child do to become better at math?

I'm so glad you asked that question! We are lucky to have a FANTASTIC
resource given to us by a school district parent who noticed kids needed
more help with math facts. Every Artondale Student has a password to get
into this math facts website: http://xtramath.org/ Hint: Use the same
password we use at school.
This program will keep track of every student's progress so they will be
continually challenged at the next computation level. Ten minutes a day is
all you need!
