I have been teaching at Carmichael for nine years. I have taught
reading, writing and math. This year I am teaching 6th grade math and 6th
grade math plus. I coach Cross Country in the fall and am also the
Scrapbook Club advisor.
I grew up in the Tri-Cities. I am a graduate of WSU Tri-Cities (Go Cougs!)
and I received my Masters Degree from Heritage College. I have been married
for 12 years to my husband, Gordon. We have three children, Austin and
Bailey who are 10, and Samantha who is 2 1/2 years old. My hobbies include
scrapbooking, taking pictures, spending time with my family and friends, and
attending my children's sports events.
I want my students to feel comfortable with math. Just explore and have some
fun. Be open to new ideas and concepts. Try to apply yourself and give an
honest effort. You can accomplish anything! Yes, even math. :)
