Meet the 2012-2013 PTA Board!

What is our mission?

Military personnel and Community Parent Teacher Association works to build a strong educational foundation for the children of Carter Lake Elementary. Members include teachers, staff, parents, and members of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) community.

What does PTA do?

The PTA provides funds for many activities at the school. Monthly, the PTA celebrates students’ birthdays through Birthday Buddies with a card. At the end of the year, the PTA helps put on fifth grade graduation, the Celebration of Learning, and Field Day.
At the beginning of the year, the PTA creates and sells student emergency kits. There is a fall and spring Scholastic book fair which is used to raise funds for books for the library and classrooms.

We need YOU!!!

If you are interested in becoming a general council member, we meet on the first Thursday of the month at 3pm. Come and help make a difference in the lives of our students! We would love you have you!!!
PTA board members meet the first Tuesday of the month (this is for board members only please, but we would love to see you at the general council meetings!)
