Fox NewsFlash & Friday Folder
February 8th-12th
Hi Fox supporters, just wanted to let you know that we are changing the newsflash (I like to think it's evolving?). In an effort to coordinate better with the concept of the traditional paper Friday Folder that your student used to bring home, I am now sending this out on Friday. It will have all same information, links and sometimes attachments of it's paper cousin and the Sunday newsflash. It's just greener, more convenient and easier on the budget than paper! I am trying to keep this as simple and organized as possible. Just focusing on the info, links, attachments, and a contact for more information on each event. Should you have feedback for me please let me know, I would be happy to hear your suggestions

~General PTA meeting Tuesday February 9th in the Fox Library. Free childcare. 6:00-8:00. All are welcome.
~REPLACEMENT LEVY INFORMATION Tuesday is the big day, ballots are due February 9th! Don't forget to vote YES for our schools.

Join us in waving signs in front of the school (actually at the street corners on either side) on Friday, 2/5, Monday 2/8 and Tuesday 2/9 from 8:30 – 9 am each day. Call, register or feel free to just show up and lend your support. We have only received a few responses and would really like to have 4-5 folks available each day.
These signs will help remind folks to vote since the deadline to vote for our replacement levy (which is CRUCIAL for our children’s education) is Tuesday, February 9th. If you can’t help out, please exercise your right to vote and show your support of education in the Camas School District.

FOX P.T.A. READ-A-THON
What is a Read-A-Thon? A chance to celebrate readers and enjoy great books! It also serves as the Fox winter fundraiser.
How do I participate? READ! READ! READ! Also, ask family and friends to pledge money toward your total reading minutes for the month of
February. Use the pledge sheet on the back.
How do I track my minutes? Use your Foxy Reader Calendar. ALSO, turn in your weekly tally sheet.*
What do I get for turning in pledge money? If you turn in $15 you will receive a prize bag, and for every $15 you turn in you will earn one chance to win the grand prize, PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY! You will deliver morning announcements, attend all recesses, eat lunch in the office and Mrs. Sork will even do your homework for the day!!!
Pledge money is due no later than Friday, March 5th to be eligible for prizes.

Passes are $7 per person (adults and kids, 3 and up) for 10 second-run movies at Kiggins Movie Theatre in Vancouver, Each movie runs weekly-your options for days/times are on Saturday through Thursday from February 20 to April 29.
