PTA Fundraising Facts

The Fox PTA Budget is funded by 3 fundraising events over the course of the school year 

• Direct Drive :  Our Fall parent-driven direct donation campaign, the majority of our budget is funded by this campaign.
• Read A Thon: Our Winter pledge drive based on student reading minutes
• Run For The Arts: Our Spring pledge drive based on student running/walking mileage 

Last Year Fox PTA Fundraising paid for :

• Artist in Residence. Art taught tri-weekly by a professional artist for all grade levels
• electronic piano for the music room, used by Mrs. Dayton for all grade levels
• Atomic clocks for the entire school. Ever notice that no two clocks were the same time at fox? Well now everyone will head home, to 
specialists and recess on time!
• Cubbies purchased and installed in the hall between  the library and music room. No more tripping on backpacks!
• Teacher classroom funds. Our staff use a significant amount of their own money to buy supplies for their classrooms. This fund is the PTA’s 
attempt to reduce the financial burden on our staff.

PTA funds have been allocated for a significant capital investment. The PTA  membership will identify what this project/item will be after the 
winter school bond measure. Please attend our monthly meetings to help us determine where our money will be best utilized!

Your participation in PTA fundraising is critical to the continued improvement of the educational environment at fox.
