I have been teaching and working on student achievement at Dower Elementary
for 22 years. I have a daughter in 4th grade and a son in 8th grade. I enjoy
singing, reading, and spending time with my husband and children.
Working closely with classroom teachers to look at math curriculum,
instructional practices and student data helps to increase student
achievement. I go into all classes to know the Dower students and the their
learning needs. I plan instruction with teachers looking closely at testing
data to help teachers differentiate instruction for all students based on
needs. I am excited to be working with teachers in math instructional strategies!
This year we are focusing on Differentiated Instruction to ensure that all
students have access to powerful learning.
