Welcome

Welcome to our school! Our mission is to make sure everyday counts by creating outstanding opportunities for learning and for our students to be creative, open-minded, organized learners. We know that families and students are important partners in this journey and we invite you to partner with us. We believe that all children can excel at academics, and that activities and citizenship are important. We look forward to our journey this year.
Be C.O.O.L.!! (Creative, Open-minded, Organized Learners)

Principal's Corner

We have come down to the final few weeks of school. The big tests are all completed. Now students and teachers can finally work to complete the last bit of learning in preparation for promotion to their new grade level next year. As a reminder for students on warm days - although it may be warm outside the classrooms are temperature controlled. Also be sure to review the dress code policy for the district - students cannot wear flip-flops to school and shorts need to be knee length. We invite you to join your students on Field Day next Friday for activities and the BBQ.
Thank you to our visitors who are supporting our new safety and security protocols by signing in and wearing a visitor badge. You will also notice that all staff are wearing their district badge. This increase in security allows us to know who is on campus so that we ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff. We are also asking that parents pick up students in the gym so we ensure that students are going home in the manner outlined by parents. Reminder that if parents would like students to go home in a different manner (walker but want to be parent pick-up today) - the office needs to be called prior to 2:00 PM to ensure that the teacher has the new information. Thank you for your support!!
Reminder: The doors to school open at 7:30 for breakfast -- once students are finished eating or have already eaten they wait in the auditorium for bell dismissal. No students are in the building before 7:30 and no students waiting in the classroom before the bell rings. Thank you for your support!

Again I look forward to celebrating learning with you this year!
Mrs. Diana Dix

Keeping Informed

Family Access to SKYWARD student management system
SKYWARD Login
We are excited to announce that this new student management system is now available to you. This system is intended to keep you regularly informed about how your child is doing in school.

Our teachers have been working tirelessly to learn and implement this system, which includes the new SKYWARD Gradebook. Please be patient and work collaboratively with your child's teacher if you have concerns or questions about grades and assignments posted in the system.

This is an adventure that we hope will improve our school to home communications. Looking forward to your support and understanding during this process.
