Supply List

The list below is what Ms. Dunn's 5th graders should have at school
EVERY DAY! Keep extra supplies at home and replace as needed,
usually monthly-sometimes sooner. If there is any way to label the
supplies with your child's name, please do so.
Special Notes:
BINDERS!!! Please, please don't buy a fancy, expensive binder. The
binder your child needs in my class should be no more than $10; yes,
$10. If you need to spend more money, buy 2, and replace it mid-
year. Binders more expensive than this have too many pockets
and "do-dads" that most 5th graders can't stop messing with.
Inapropriate binders will be sent home. I have used binders for
students to use if a child is unable to bring the correct type.
MECHANICAL PENCILS- if you buy this type of pencil please choose the
disposable type. Refillable mechanical pencils will be sent home.
SHARPIES- I have lots of sharpies in the classroom. Any found in the
classroom is considered public property. Please keep yours at home!

**I have pencil baskets that fit your desk
1 red pen or colored pencil for correcting
5 pencils
wide rule paper
1 gum eraser -write your name on it
1 Dry-Erase marker - write your name on it
1 (optional) inexpensive headphones- write name the top
2 glue sticks
24 pack colored pencils
3 folders for homework, etc.
These are the supplies you need everyday-replace them before you run out!
