1) Mrs. Whitehouse will be teaching 4th grade next year!! She is very
excited about it!! Some students from this year will be joining her. If you
are not in Mrs. Whitehouse's class next year, you will still have an
excellent 4th grade teacher and a very fun year!! Mrs. Young, Mrs. Reed, and
Ms. Rayne will also be teaching 4th grade!!
2) Wow! We're almost done with the school year!! How did it go by so fast??
We have several fun events coming up:
Thursday May 28th - Walking field trip to meet Mayor Donnetta Walser at City
Hall! 9:30-10:30am.
Friday, May 29th - 5:30-7:00pm Summer Safety Celebration and Bike Rodeo at
FWE! Bring your bike, scooter, and helmet! Come ride through fun obstacle
courses, meet firefighters, and learn important safety skills!
Wednesday June 3 - 1:30pm Savanna's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson are
firefighters and will be coming to school to share fire safety tips and
demonstrate their gear!
Wednesday June 10 - All of the FWE third graders will be going to Sky Valley
Park for fun events to celebrate the end of third grade! We will go from
11:00am to 2:00pm! Parents may join us as chaperones! Students may bring
outdoor play toys like frisbees and balls, but they do understand that there
is a risk that items could be lost or broken.
Thursday June 11 - Field Day at FWE 1:30-3:00pm Parents are encouraged to
volunteer. Let Mrs. W. know if you can!
Friday June 12 - Pizza Lunch in class for finishing our Read Across America!
All students who finished all 800 minutes will be invited to attend!
Monday June 15 - Banana Splits for our Multiplication Facts! Students are
earning toppings for each level of multiplication they pass! They are
working very hard..please work on your facts at home..we only have a few
more weeks!!
Tuesday June 16 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Early Dismissal!
