I have been teaching for the past seven years and have spent most of
those in third grade! My husband and I live in our new house in the Lake
Stevens area. I have two cats, named Fergus and Sophie, one dog named Monte,
and three turtles! I love playing with my dog and taking long walks with
him. I can probably convince one of my turtles to visit us in class one day!
I love to teach third grade! My favorite things are to teach cursive
writing, multiplication, science, and to read great books to my class. My
students publish their own stories every year and I am excited about the
stories you will write!
I'm looking forward to our study of the Sun, Moon, and Stars. I
had the chance to go to Florida and see the Space Shuttle
Endeavor launch! I can't wait to share my video of that with you and to
learn more about space!
My classroom belongs not only to me, but to all of my students and
together we will make it a fun, exciting place to learn! All of us in class
are important people and we will have a classroom that shows respect,
trustworthiness, caring, responsibility, citizenship, and fairness.
