| We are all getting ready for a wonderful summer. In PE we have been
discussing how we can be safe while we keep moving. Water is a real safety
hazard. We have been discussing ways we can be safe around pools, lakes and
rivers. Please take time to review water safety with your kids.
Our community has a wonderful program called "Get Moving". There is a kick-
off at the Monroe YMCA on Saturday, June 7th from 10-1:00. Kids get a free t-
shirt and Get Movin' playbook (while supplies last) and an opportunity for
free activities. If you have time, it would be worth checking it out!
We are also looking for volunteers for field day. It will be held in two
sessions on Wednesday, June 11th. K-2 will have their time from 9:30-11 and
3rd-5th and PM kindergarten will play from 1:30-3. If you can volunteer for
one or both, we would appreciate it!
